The former University of Tennessee TE would be another big bodied target if he can make the final cuts.
The Saints worked out four this week and have signed former University of Tennessee TE Ethan Wolf per a league source.
The Saints have signed tight end Ethan Wolf (University of Tennessee), per league source. He’s 6-foot-6, 260 pounds. Wolf was on the Rams practice squad last year. He tried out with four other TEs this week.

The 6’ 6”, 260 pond TE was on the Rams practice squad in 2019. He has also spent time with the Packers, Jaguars, and the Panthers. He was originally signed by the Titans as an UDFA in 2018.
With Tennessee he played in 50 games, starting 47. He had 91 receptions, 998, yards, averaging 11 yards per reception, and 7 touchdowns.
Ethan is still trying to find his way in the NFL. The Saints take flyers on this type of player every year. It will be up to Mr. Wolf to prove he deserves to be here.
It’s worth noting Josh Hill missed the first practice with pads in training camp with what Sean Payton described as a tweak. This could actually translate into he’s doomed. You just never know with Payton.
