Merry Hump Day, everyone!
I don’t have a whole lot to say up here today. It’s late, I’m tired, and I’m ready for bed, so I’ll just post some links and I HOPE to get some free time to come join the debauchery in the comments section.
Around the DN since our last open thread:
Chris shared a couple of roster moves by the Vikings, as they signed LB Hardy Nickerson and waived CB Marcus Sayles. Yes, it’s Sayles, not Sherels; I did a double-take, too.
Other Vikings/NFL news, and random oddities and annoyances:
From Vikings.com, watch Tom Pelissero’s interview with HC Mike Zimmer, catch highlights from yesterday’s padded practice, and there is a ton more to look through in the media vault. It feels good to say that again.
From ESPN, Bears HC Matt Nagy said it’s too soon to tell if Trubisky has improved. I’m 99% sure that you can translate that statement into “he still sucks”.
Bucs WR Mike Evans says that he enjoys having Tom Brady as a teammate, per ESPN. I’m sure it’s a breath of fresh air to have a quarterback who throws it to the offensive players instead of to the defense.
We come to today’s media selection:
