The Buccaneers’ star receiver will play against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday
The Buccaneers had a huge injury list this week, but it appears everyone is on track to play. Most notably, wide receiver Chris Godwin - who has missed three games so far this season - will make his return after missing the last two weeks with a hamstring injury.
Fellow receivers Justin Watson and Scotty Miller, who are also dealing with injuries, are going to be available for the team this weekend. There are three players listed as “Questionable” for the week six match-up with the Packers - cornerback Carlton Davis (abdomen), defensive tackle Khalil Davis (ankle), and running back Leonard Fournette (ankle) but it seems as if those three will also be able to suit up for the Bucs.
A big question through the week was the injured players in the secondary. Davis is questionable but safety Jordan Whitehead was limited Wednesday before missing practice on Thursday. He was limited on Friday and will play.
For the Packers, they will be without running back Tyler Ervin but have four players listed as questionable - cornerback Kevin King (quadriceps), defensive lineman Montravius Adams (neck), linebacker Rashan Gary (ankle), and linebacker Za’Darius Smith (ankle).
Here is the full injury report for the Buccaneers and Packers for week six. The “Battle of the Bays” will take place Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
