Possible QB coaches for the Bills if Culley moves to WRs

In the event that David Culley is moved (fired or change in position), here are some names to keep an eye on for QB coaches

This might be jumping the gun a bit, but Buffalo Rumblings has a list of possible quarterback coaches the Buffalo Bills could look to hire. Yes, we understand that David Culley is still employed by the Bills and there has been no indication that this will change. However, with the news that Terry Robiskie will not be returning to coach wide receivers with the Bills, it got us wondering.

David Culley has been coaching since 1978. While this has included some quarterback work, the vast majority of his time has been with wide receivers. In what might be considered a logical move, the Buffalo Bills could move Culley into the wide receiver room, to fill the position vacated by Robiskie. If that occurs, there are some big names to look at when it comes to potential quarterback coaches. As we did with offensive line and wide receiver coaching candidates, we examined teams with recent head coach and offensive coordinator firings. And because nepotism is alive and well, we took a peek at some potential connections to McDermott and Daboll, as well. (That’s the “mcd” column.)

Feel free to discuss your favorites, least favorites and glaring omissions from the list in the comments below.

EDIT: John Hufnagel should read “GM in CFL” rather than “Retired.”

Jim Bob Cooter was offensive quality control under Brian Daboll in 2012 with the Chiefs. Shout out to Aaron McMillan for these corrections via Twitter.
