The above photo is of safety Eric Weddle making a tackle on a Seahawks player in 2010, which you can tell from the nature of their outdated uniforms. Weddle was not in the NFC West at the time but he was in the west and it was one of two times that he has faced Seattle in his 12-year career.
He’s now scheduled to face the Seahawks twice in this year alone after signing a two-year deal with the LA Rams.
Fear the beard.

Weddle was released by the Baltimore Ravens earlier in the week despite making the Pro Bowl in all three of his seasons with the team. Weddle recorded 68 tackles, three passes defensed and one sack at free safety, the position he’ll likely be playing under Wade Phillips in LA in replacement of Lamarcus Joyner.
The Rams tagged Joyner last season but the results were underwhelming and the two sides are clearly not on the same page as far as what he’s worth to retain. LA made their decision there easy by signing the 34-year-old Weddle.
