This is just another issue in what has been an ongoing saga for the Arizona Cardinals with regards to Peterson.
He demanded a trade halfway through the miserable 2018 season, without actually demanding a trade.
Then he apologized for asking for a trade a emphasized his commitment to the team and community.
That was followed up by deleting a number of team references on social media and posting cryptic messages regarding... Something that made him upset with the team.
Now, he is not going to be eligible for the first six games of the 2019 season for performance enhancing drugs.
It has been quite the rollercoaster for the Arizona Cardinals and Peterson and now what has been a sparkling clean on field career will now show a blemish for PED's.
This is now an even more interesting turn of events because you'd have to imagine it makes Peterson untradeable for the first half of the season.
You also have to wonder if the Cardinals were looking to move Peterson if it makes his value even less.
No matter what, this offseason has been one to remember.
