Antonio Brown reportedly planning to file extortion countersuit against accuser

Antonio Brown is being sued by his former trainer who accused him in a civil lawsuit filed Tuesday of sexually assaulting her three times from June 2017-May 2018. The New England Patriots wide receiver is planning to countersue, according to a report. In a lawsuit filed in federal court in the Southern District of Florida, a woman named Britney Taylor sued Brown seeking compensation for “physical injuries, pain and suffering, humiliation, embarrassment, stress and anxiety, loss of self-esteem and self-confidence, and emotional pain and suffering.” Taylor and Brown know each other from their time as athletes at Central Michigan, where Taylor was a gymnast. Brown’s attorney responded to the lawsuit with a statement declaring the suit a “money grab.” According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Brown is planning to sue Taylor for civil extortion.
