The new-look Green Bay Packers led by rookie head coach Matt LaFleur travel to Soldier Field to take on the reigning NFC North champion Chicago Bears. This will be our first opportunity to see future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers operating inside of a modern NFL offense, but he will be doing so facing off against one of the National Football League’s toughest defenses. That defense will be without defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, however, as he is now the head coach of the Denver Broncos.
On the other side of the ball, second-year quarterback Matt Trubisky is arguably the only weak link on an otherwise stacked team with Super Bowl aspirations. He flashed plenty of potential last season, but he is going to need to take massive strides this year if he is actually going to pilot Matt Nagy’s offense to the kind of success their talent suggests they could have.
