The NFL regular season kicks off with an NFC North duel
The time has finally arrived: the National Football League’s regular season commences! After a month of sub-optimal preseason football, the real game begins, and we will get to see two teams in the NFC North face off against each other.
The Chicago Bears are coming off a successful 12-4 season, yet their Super Bowl hopes were dashed by another poor Mitchell Trubisky performance and the crucial miss by kicker and scapegoat Cody Parkey. The Bears are looking to prove that 2018 was no fluke, and with an elite defense, there is certainly plenty of reason to be afraid. Nonetheless, they will need Trubisky and company to step up this season on offense.
Speaking of offense, the Packers are not the dominant force of yesteryear, but any team with Aaron Rodgers at the helm is a competitor. The question now, however, is whether or not they have enough talent surrounding him to do some damage in the uber-competitive NFC North. The defense has plenty of youngster, but aside from Davante Adams, their offense is lacking stars. Perhaps this could be the year that Aaron Jones breaks out.
The NFL is back, and you do not want to miss it. Here’s how to watch:
