The Chiefs did practice
The San Francisco 49ers didn’t practice Wednesday, but they were still required to submit a practice participation report on the teams injuries ahead of the Super Bowl in a week and a half. Here is the injury report:
DNP: RB Tevin Coleman (shoulder)
Limited: LB Kwon Alexander (pectoral)
DL Dee Ford (quadricep, hamstring)
S Jaquiski Tartt (ribs)
Full: LB Dre Greenlaw (ankle)
Coleman likely won’t practice next Wednesday, let alone a few days after a dislocated shoulder. I’d love to hear the reasons Coleman should practice before the game. Get all the rest you can and suit up on gameday.
On Monday, Kyle Shanahan spoke about Tartt and his rib injury:
“I know he just irritated the same area, but no new damage. He’ll deal with some pain, I’m sure, this week, but it’s nice that the game’s two weeks away.”
A week off should do wonders for Tartt. Ford and Alexander listed isn’t too surprising. Every player listed will play on February 2, and that’s all that matters. I laughed out loud at Greenlaw’s “injury” because this was right after the game:

The ankle looked fine then!
Here is the Chiefs practice report. They did take the field Wednesday.
Did not practice:
WR Demarcus Robinson (illness)
Limited
DT Chris Jones (calf)
TE Travis Kelce (knee)
Full participation
CB Morris Claiborne (shoulder)
WR Mecole Hardman (back)
DE Tanoh Kpassagnon (hand)
C Austin Reiter (wrist)
Jones and Kelce are their third and fourth best players, but they’re playing. No doubt about that.
