Injury report for Bengals vs. Browns: Both teams face OL issues, Randy Bullock to kick for Cincy

The Browns hope to have both of their starting offensive tackles start.

Here is the injury report for the Cleveland Browns’ Week 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals:

Injury Notes

  • The Browns have ruled four players out: CB Kevin Johnson, CB Greedy Williams, LB Mack Wilson, and LB Jacob Phillips. The new addition to the list is Phillips; short on depth, the team promoted LB Montrel Meander to the roster this week.
  • More eyes are on the Browns’ offensive line, as both starting tackles, LT Jedrick Wills Jr and RT Jack Conklin, are listed as questionable. The good news is that Wills did participate in practiced in a limited capacity this week, and Conklin’s activity improved for Wednesday’s report. We’ll see if there are any further updates, but my guess is that both Wills and Conklin play, with Kendall Lamm being ready in case either has a setback.
  • The Bengals are hurting on the injury front too. Starting RG Xavier Su’a-Filo was a free agent acquisition, and might have been the team’s best offensive lineman. However, he is now on IR after Week 1. The Bengals’ defensive tackle depth is hurting with DT Geno Atkins and DT Mike Daniels both out.
  • The other injury of note is regarding K Randy Bullock. The Bengals added former Browns K Austin Seibert during the week because Bullock suffered a calf strain during Sunday’s game. But Bullock is back to practicing in full, so it looks like he’ll kick Thursday night.
