The Kansas City Chiefs will start the season at home against the Houston Texans in what figures to be a high scoring matchup. Two of the best quarterbacks in the league face-off, and you can’t ask for much more than that. Deshaun Watson won’t have DeAndre Hopkins to throw to anymore. We’ll see Hopkins on Sunday. Will Houston’s offense keep up with Kansas City’s? That’ll be the story of this game. I could see Watson hitting a few big plays tonight, but I’m not so sure they’ll be able to sustain drives.
On the other side of the ball, I’d guess Andy Reid will take advantage of the Texans linebackers, and it won’t be long before we see that happen. Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL, and if they score fewer than four times tonight, it’d be surprising. Who do you think wins tonight? The total in this game is 53.5, and the Chiefs are favored by 9.5 points.
