Steelers-Bucs closes out the week with Monday Night Football

The NFL closes out Week 3 with an unexpectedly intriguing Monday Night Football matchup. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Pittsburgh Steelers, with kickoff set for 5:15 p.m. PT on ESPN. Joe Tessitore and Jason Witten will call the game from the booth, with Booger McFarland serving as an analyst from the field. Lisa Salters continues her duties as the sideline reporter.

The Bucs are 2-0 after big wins in New Orleans and at home against the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been unstoppable in leading the Bucs. They face a Steelers squad dealing with all sorts of drama. Le’Veon Bell continues to hold out, and Antonio Brown had a brief spat with the team that appears to have subsided.

The Bucs are a one-point favorite, and I am leaning into Fitzmagic & Co. Ben Roethlisberger is inconsistent on the road, and this drama would seem to set them up for a rough week. Fitzpatrick will eventually come back to earth, but the Steelers defense is trash. I would not be shocked by Fitzpatrick stumbling, but for now, I’m comfortable laying the point with the Bucs.
