Dang it.
Well, in some not-so-good news, Los Angeles Rams cornerback Aqib Talib has suffered a high ankle sprain from Sunday’s showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers:
Rams’ CB Aqib Talib suffered a high-ankle sprain Sunday that will sideline him at least one month, and Rams CB Marcus Peters strained his calf and is considered day to day, though with a Thursday night game this week, it will be tough for him to play, per league sources.

Outside of an actual fracture or something extreme, this was just about the worst news the Rams could have received as it means Talib will likely be out 3-4 games (remember: the Rams will get 10 days between the Thursday Night Football game and week five).
This news hurts even more when you combine the loss of Talib with the loss of CB Marcus Peters. Both starting cornerbacks will be out for multiple weeks it seems, so the Rams’ depth will be counted on to step up.
Some options include: Sam Shields, Nickel CB turned full-time starter Nickell Robey-Coleman, Troy Hill, and potentially even re-signing someone like Dominique Hatfield.
The Rams will be in a tight situation with a short week coming vs the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday.
