It’s Weekend Eve!
Good Morning!
It’s weekend eve, I hope you had a great work week and are looking forward to a Vikings win over the Saints on Sunday. Look on the front page and below for a link to donate through Saints punter Thomas Morstead’s foundation to raise funds to support Best Christmas Ever© families in Minnesota and the Greater New Orleans area to lift up families who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own by giving them a Best Christmas Ever. If you have the extra money and inclination I hope you’re able to join me in donating. While we’re waiting for the next Vikings game to start we’ll continue with our open thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Have another cup of coffee and drop by for some fan wisdom and snark. With that, let’s do this.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the venison chili and as always, Welcome Aboard and Skol Vikings!
