Packers vs. Bills, Week 4: Second half game thread

Green Bay leads 16-0 at the half after a good first half all around.

The Green Bay Packers’ running game is on a roll through 30 minutes at Lambeau Field today, helping lead the team to a double-digit lead on the Buffalo Bills in the teams’ week four matchup today.

The Packers have a total of 89 rushing yards, and they are spreading the love around in the backfield. Aaron Jones leads in yardage with 39 and a touchdown on five carries, while Jamaal Williams has seven for 23 and Ty Montgomery has a pair of carries and 13 yards. Montgomery and Adams each have one reception as well, with Montgomery’s going for 43 yards and Jones’ for 17.

All that and a solid first half for Aaron Rodgers early on equates to a solid lead for the Packers at the half. Touchdowns by Jimmy Graham and Aaron Jones plus a Mason Crosby field goal as time expired give the Packers a 16-0 lead at the break. The Packers will receive the second-half kickoff, as they won the coin toss and deferred.

The Packers’ defense has held Buffalo to just 82 total yards in the first half. Josh Allen has completed five of 19 passes for 58 yards and an interception to Jaire Alexander.

Feel free to also use this space to discuss this afternoon’s baseball action, with the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs locked in a tie for the NL Central lead. Head over to Brew Crew Ball for updates on the Brewers’ game against the Detroit Tigers.
