The Patriots travel to Buffalo Monday Night as Tom Brady & co. look to continue their hot streak.
The New England Patriots travel to Buffalo for Monday night for a primetime showdown against the Buffalo Bills. Brady enters Monday night’s game with a 28-3 career record against the Bills according to Pro Football Reference, with a touchdown to interception ration of 68:22.
The Patriots started the season 1-2, including a primetime pummeling at the hands of the Lions, but have since turned it around to enter this game at 5-2. They look to extend their hot streak and it shouldn’t be a challenge given the current situation of the Bills.
The defense has been stellar under head coach Sean McDermott, but the offense continues to search for answers. Bills first-round pick Josh Allen has both struggled and dealt with injuries. In his absence, backup Nathan Peterman has been as incompetent as everyone assumed he was after his 5-interception first half in his lone start from last season. That has forced the team to resort to journeyman and longtime backup quarterback Derek Anderson, who looks to give the Bills offense some semblance of direction and leadership to salvage their season.
Do the Bills have a chance? How many points will the Pats offense put up against a tough Bills defense? Will said defense be enough to keep Buffalo afloat? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
