Raiders-Colts final injury report: Safety position for Colts is in trouble

The safety position for the Colts could be in trouble for this game. Missing this week for the Colts will be starting free safety Malik Hooker. He suffered a hip injury last week and will not play. Fellow starting safety Clayton Geathers missed the last two practices with a neck injury and is questionable for the game.

The Colts secondary was suspect as it is and will be more so without Hooker and Geathers in the lineup. So, if there were ever a chance for Derek Carr to test the field deep, this is the game. I mean, what does he have to lose at this point anyway?

It’s the running game for the Raiders that could be in trouble. They’re already without Marshawn Lynch who was placed on injured reserve with a groin injury. Doug Martin will replace him as the ‘feature back’ and he may be without his best run blocker, Kelechi Osemele. The former All Pro left guard has been out the past two games and after missing the first two of the team’s three practices this week, he is questionable for this one.

Should Osemele not go, Jon Feliciano was removed from the injury report with the rib injury that knocked him out against the Seahawks two weeks ago.

Also questionable for the Raiders is cornerback Daryl Worley. Gareon Conley is expected to see more time at cornerback after being bench last week.

Out for the Colts along with Hooker is WR Ryan Grant, RB Robert Turbin, and TE Erik Swoope. Former Raiders DT Jihad Ward has been placed on injured reserve.
