Week 8 NFL odds: Bet your mortgage on the Eagles

We’re back in black, folks! We went 4-0 last week and now we’re three games over .500!

How does Week 8 look? Let’s check it out!

Note: I use Bovada’s odds just a few hours before the game for all the spreads.

Miami Dolphins (+7.5) at Houston Texans

The Texans have been playing tight games all year, with six of their seven final scores not separated by more than seven points. I think that holds tonight and the Texans win a close one — something to the tune of 23-20 or close to it.

Bet on the Dolphins and take 7.5 points.

New Orleans Saints (EVEN) at Minnesota Vikings

You’re betting on the winner and I think the Saints get a win on the road this week.

Bet on the Saints to win outright.

New England Patriots (-14) at Buffalo Bills

Until the Bills aren’t bad they are bad. That’s my analysis.

Bet on the Patriots to absolutely blow out the Bills.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+3.5) vs. Philadelphia Eagles

If there were a prop bet for Blake Bortles throwing a pick-six I’d take that bet too. The Jaguars are a mess.

Bet on the Eagles to win by at least four points.
