The Jacksonville Jaguars lost their fifth game in a row on Sunday, 29-26 to the Indianapolis Colts. The loss moved the Jaguars to 3-6 on the season and likely put an end to any playoff hopes, also putting the team in sole possession of last place in the AFC South. It was a brutal loss, ironically capped off by a defensive collapse and another wide receiver fumble late in the game.
As such, the Jaguars continue their slide in SB Nation’s NFL Power Rankings, coming in at 25th overall for Week 11. That’s down two spots from last week and they’re now firmly in company with the likes of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and New York Giants.
Yuck.
It’s deserved, though. The Jaguars haven’t played as a complete team since their Week 4 victory over the New York Jets. They’ve taken turns with stuff being wrong and sinking the team, mostly the offense, but on Sunday the Jaguars defense appeared as if they’d never played together before.
