Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns injury report: Sutton sits out practice

Your Tuesday injury report for the Broncos and the Browns.

The Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns released their first injury report ahead of their Saturday night showdown. For the Broncos, starting rookie wide receiver Courtland Sutton sat out Tuesday’s practice.

Linebacker Shaq Barrett, cornerback Chris Harris Jr., rookie wide receiver Courtland Sutton, defensive end Derek Wolfe, and rookie cornerback Isaac Yiadom sat out practice.

Sutton is dealing with a quad injury that he suffered during the Broncos loss to the San Francisco 49ers this past weekend. It’s unclear if he’ll be good to go or hampered by this injury for this weekend’s game against the Browns, but it’s not a great start to the week for him. If Sutton is unable to go, the Broncos will start rookie DaeSean Hamilton and Tim Patrick at wide receiver.

Also sidelined is rookie cornerback Isaac Yiadom who is dealing with a shoulder injury. His status isn’t looking great for this weekend and look for recently signed Jamar Taylor to get some more extra playing time this weekend.

Some good news for the Broncos is that veteran cornerback Tramaine Brock is returning to the lineup for the Broncos. Brock was limited in today’s practice and figures to get a full practice in by the end of the week.

As for the Browns, they were without rookie cornerback Denzel Ward, Larry Ogunjobi, and J.C. Tretter all sat out practice for them.

Here is your entire Tuesday injury report for the Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns.
