Fuller is one of those players the Chiefs cannot afford to lose.

2/2 Big props to player for playing through tough injury and Med staff for handling appropriately and keeping player on the field. Good job by all with management of this injury.

Here is the wrap Kendall Fuller was working with Thursday night.
Last night’s Kansas City Chiefs loss to the Los Angeles Chargers was not an easy one to swallow, but at least you could wake up knowing the Chiefs still controlled their own destiny in the AFC.
This news hurts.
Sources: #Chiefs CB Kendall Fuller played through a painful wrist injury, believed to be a fracture, in last night’s loss to the #Chargers. The plan is to have surgery this morning. A blow to their secondary.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting Kendall Fuller played through a wrist injury, which he believes to be a fracture, on Thursday night in the loss to the Chargers. Fuller’s also reportedly having surgery Friday morning.
Bad to worse. Had been the only guy in the secondary the last couple weeks to show improvement before last night. https://t.co/pbZiwisgqV

Fuller did have his arm wrapped up in the locker room when he spoke to reporters Tuesday, so this makes sense.
I have often called Fuller the second-most important player on the Chiefs roster next to Patirck Mahomes given the lack of secondary depth on the Chiefs roster. Fuller is just one of those players, like a Travis Kelce, you really can’t afford to lose (especially with two must-win games down the stretch).
Somewhat out of left field here. Will have to learn more about severity and procedure before analysis. Mini-bye week they have now surely played a role in timing of surgery. Hopefully a minor provide that he can play soon with.@ArrowheadPride https://t.co/ZmKw6cwXct

We’ll keep you posted as more news comes through as to how much time Fuller is expected to miss. He had two tackles and an interception, his second of the season, against the Chargers.
