John Kelly and Justin Davis will now have a chance to prove they were worth the wait
The Los Angeles Rams’ running back depth will take a hit as RB Malcolm Brown is going to be lost for “at least” the remainder of the regular season:
#Rams RB Malcolm Brown (clavicle) is out for the rest of the regular season at least, sources say. Beyond that is TBD. Sean McVay called it a “huge loss.” It’ll be even huger if something happens to Todd Gurley. (Yes, huger is a word.)

Brown was injured on Sunday against the Detroit Lions early after only receiving two touches. He was in noticeable pain in his shoulder, forcing RB Todd Gurley to handle the entire workload the remainder of the game as both John Kelly and Justin Davis were inactive (as they have been almost all season).
Brown finishes the regular season with 43 rushes, 212 yards, five receptions for 52 yards receiving and one receiving touchdown. The possibility for Brown to return in the playoffs remains alive as the Rams may not shut his season down by placing him on the injured reserve list.
The time to step up for the two preseason stars in Davis and Kelly is now as the Rams like to spell Gurley from time-to-time.
