Make that four Chargers in four weeks to receive the honor.
Second-year receiver Mike Williams was named the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week after his recent heroics in the team’s last-second victory over the Kansas City Chiefs this past Thursday night.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound wideout hauled in a career-high seven receptions for 76 yards and a pair of scores. He also added a single carry which he took 19 yards for another score on the ground.
To top off his incredible night, Williams was also the recipient of Philip River’s game-winning two-point conversion toss to elevate the Chargers over the Chiefs for the first time in five years.

Williams also becomes the fourth Chargers in as many weeks to receive AFC Player of the Week honor following Rivers in week 12, with Desmond King and Michael receiving nods for their special teams performances in week 13 and 14, respectively.
