Names of prospects to know in the 2018 College Football Playoffs
With the NFL on Sunday only, all eyes are on the four “best” teams in college football.
It is time for the College Football Playoffs.
The premier matchup of the day, the primtime game features defending National Champion Alabama.
Capital One Orange Bowl
Who: #4 Oklahoma Sooners at #1 Alabama Crimson Tide
When: December 29, 2019, 6:00 pm Arizona Time
How: ESPN
The Sooners have the fire power, while the Crimson Tide have the maulers, let’s take a look.
Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma
The slender and speedy Brown could be the answer to the wide receiver needs of the Arizona Cardinals. He has amassed 2,400 yards and 17 touchdowns in his two seasons with the Sooners and is a big play waiting to happen.
Ben Powers, OG, Oklahoma
Wait, the Sooners have talented offensive lineman to know? Absolutely, actually two that I love and it all starts with Powers. A physical, dominating guard.
Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma
Another mauler up front, Ford is a physical force with Powers.
Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama
One of the most impressive single seasons from a college prospect that has happened in a while. Williams will be a guy who can fight Bosa for that top spot in the draft.
Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama
The top offensive lineman in the draft, Williams is one of the best pass blockers in the nation, allowing only 10 pressures on the season and equally adept in the run game.
Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama
You find a way to get the three Bama players on this list on the Cardinals and the team is unequivocally better in 2019. Wilson is a three level linebacker, who can play the run, drop into coverage and rush the passer.
The craziest thing is, I could list another three or four players from Oklahoma and another 8-10 from Bama.
