Vernon Butler inactive against Buccaneers

The Panthers will be without their Butler today as they hope to serve a loss to the Buccaneers.

The Panthers and Buccaneers have revealed the players who will not suit up for today’s NFC South clash.

The Panthers have an interesting name on today’s list, as defensive tackle Vernon Butler is a healthy scratch. Running back Kenjon Barner will be active for the first time since re-joining the Panthers a few weeks ago. Defensive end Marquis Haynes is inactive again as Efe Obada gets a game-day jersey. Cornerback Lorenzo Doss—who was activated from the practice squad earlier this week—is inactive.

The Bucs will be without key contributors in DeSean Jackson, Brent Grimes and M.J. Stewart. Needless to say, the Panthers should take advantage of these absences.
