The Bengals could end the Steelers playoff by defeating them on Sunday.
The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for their final game of the 2018 season and just like last year, they will have a chance to knock a division rival out of the playoffs on the road.
A matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field is all that remains of an emotionally-chaotic season for the Bengals. Pittsburgh has to defeat Cincinnati and then hope that the Cleveland Browns take down the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore in order to make the playoffs. If one of these games doesn’t go their way, the Steelers will end up sitting on their couches in January just like the Bengals will be.
At 6-9, there’s not much for the Bengals to hang their hats on this season. They are set to finish with their third-straight losing season as well as finish last in the division for the first time since 2010. Ending the Steelers’ season would be the highlight of this season like ending the Ravens’ season in 2017, but it could take a similar miracle for that to occur once more.
