Can he continue his success in 2019?
One of the most shocking developments of the 2018 season was the transformation of running back Derrick Henry in the final month of the year. Henry went from a virtual non-factor to pretty much the entire offense in the final stretch.
For his efforts, Henry was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for December.

During those five games in December, Henry ran for 625 yards and eight touchdowns. The offense totally changed during that game against Jacksonville, which saw Henry break off chunk run after chunk run.
Henry finally strung some games together, backing up his performance against the Giants, then having good showing against the Redskins and Colts.
His breakout performance has totally changed the viewpoint of the offense going forward for me. The Titans have a chance to establish a true identity as a team that can control games by running the football, while utilizing Marcus Mariota in the play-action passing game.
Maybe it was just a confidence issue with Henry. Maybe it took him getting phased out of the offense to truly bottom out and reset. Whatever it was, the Titans have to make sure he keeps that same intensity as a runner going into 2019.
