Eagles are going back to New Orleans for rematch against Saints in Divisional Round

Can you believe it?!

The Philadelphia Eagles easily could’ve lost to the Chicago Bears on Sunday evening.

BUT THEY DIDN’T.

Cody Parkey missed the 43-yard field goal attempt that would’ve given the Bears a win on Wild Card weekend. Instead, it’s the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles who are moving on to the Divisional Round.

Next up for the Eagles is ... a rematch with the Saints in New Orleans. Kickoff time is set for 4:40 on Sunday, January 13.

Oh baby.

The Eagles previously played the Saints in Week 11. That game ended with a final score of 48-7. It was easily their worst loss of the season.

Now the Eagles will get another crack at the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC.

The Saints are certainly going to be ready for this one. They felt like they would’ve beaten the Eagles in the playoffs last year if the Minnesota Miracle didn’t happen. Some Saints players also referred to the Eagles as “fraudulents” as recently as Week 16.

We’ll soon see if the Saints can back up their trash talk this time around when the game matters a whole lot more.

We’ll also see if Nick Foles and the Eagles can avenge their playoff loss to the Saints back in January 2014.

The Eagles are coming for you, New Orleans.
