Lamar Miller Named To 2019 Pro Bowl

Here’s to opportunity.

Lamar Miller wasn’t named to the 2019 Pro Bowl initially. He was an alternate, and like most alternates, all he had to do was wait a little while to get his call. The Denver Broncos SSX Tricky snowboarding so ‘Rado rookie running back, Phillip Lindsay, is unable to make it to Orlando because of an injury. Miller will be taking his place.

Miller had his best season as a Houston Texan in 2018. He had 973 rushing yards on 210 carries in 14 games started, which comes out to his team-best 4.7 yards an attempt. A single 97 yard rush helps that, but he still made that run, and it still counts. Through the air, Miller had 25 catches on 35 targets for 165 yards, a decline from last year’s super effective and efficient receiving season. It’s also worth noting that the Texans’ rushing offense cratered without him in the lineup.

This is Miller’s first Pro Bowl selection, and Miller is the Texans’ fifth Pro Bowl participant. He will be down in Florida hanging out with his buddies Jadeveon Clowney, DeAndre Hopkins, Benardrick McKinney and J.J. Watt.
