NFL Pro Bowl 2019: Game time, channel, radio, streaming and more

It’s the second-to-last game on the NFL calendar, even if it doesn’t matter

The second-to-last game on the 2018-19 NFL schedule is going to take place tomorrow, folks, and it’s the game that fans from coast to coast and border to border love to hate.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for the Pro Bowl. Yes, nobody plays defense in the Pro Bowl, but since we’re going to be experiencing some serious withdrawal here in the next couple of weeks, it’s one last opportunity to see some members of the Minnesota Vikings take the field.

Four members of the purple will be taking part in Sunday’s contest. Three of them are on the defensive side, as defensive end Danielle Hunter, linebacker Anthony Barr, and safety Harrison Smith will be taking part in the contest. They’re joined by the lone Vikings’ offensive representative, wide receiver Adam Thielen.

So, if you’re dying to know how to watch the penultimate NFL contest of the season, we’ve got all that info here for you.

Game time

Kickoff for the Pro Bowl is set for 2:00 PM Central time, and the game will be shown on both ABC and ESPN, as well as on Disney XD. No maps needed for this one. . .you’ve got ABC, and you more than likely have ESPN, so there you go.

For the third year in a row, the game will take place at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

Radio info

I don’t know if KFAN is going to be airing the game in the Twin Cities area or not. . .their website doesn’t make it terribly clear. However, the game will be on Westwood One, so if you have an affiliate in your area, you might be able to find it there.

The Westwood One broadcast will also be airing on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Channel 88.

Referee Info

The two referees that will be calling their final NFL game, Walt Coleman and Pete Morelli, will be heading up the crew for this one. So, if you want to curse either of those guys out one more time, well, that might be a reason for you to tune in.

Weather Info

If there’s one thing better than football that doesn’t matter, it’s football that doesn’t matter in sloppy weather. According to our friends at WeatherNation, that’s exactly what we can expect on Sunday in Orlando. According to their forecast, it’s supposed to rain all day in Central Florida, with temperatures in the mid-50s and winds coming out of the north at 15-20 miles an hour. Sounds like fun, no?

Streaming Info

The game will be steamed on the WatchESPN app.

If you’re looking for an illegal stream for the Pro Bowl, my goodness seek help.

We’ll probably have an Open Thread for the Pro Bowl up shortly before kickoff tomorrow so that we can celebrate the accomplishments of Barr, Hunter, Smith, and Thielen, and hoping that it gets over before the Royal Rumble starts.
