The eyes of the country will be on Southern California for an exciting Saturday night showdown.
The NFL closes out the first night of the divisional round with an exciting match up between the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Rams. It will not only be a clash of teams, but a clash of philosophy and a spot in the NFC Championship hangs in the balance.
Dallas is an old school team. They run the ball often and they run it well. They play good defense that is led by a few smart and hard hitting linebackers. The Cowboys want to grind games out to a halt and pummel the other team into submission. Dallas is not a very flashy team, but they get the job done and the NFC East champions have gotten this far for a reason.
The Rams are a team that represents the bright lights of Southern California better than anyone. A flashy, dazzling team that likes to run up the score. They play fast and risky and are one of the best teams to watch in the NFL. Los Angeles has some flaws and make mistakes, but they have a very clear Hollywood-esque mantra.
This game will also be a match up of young, starlet quarterbacks. Jared Goff and Dak Prescott both were drafted in 2016. Both had winding, up and down paths so far in their short careers, but both have also earned their right to play for a spot in the NFC title game.
Who do you think wins? Which team’s style do you like more? Are these quarterbacks actually good (yes)?
