Dee Ford, OLB/DE, Kansas City Chiefs: General manager Brett Veach already announced Ford will be back, with the franchise tag the most likely route to bringing the declaration to fruition. A one-year deal makes sense from the Chiefs’ perspective, considering how Ford’s contract-year explosion (13 sacks, seven forced fumbles) was a pleasant surprise, not unlike Lawrence’s breakout year. Ford staying probably means that Justin Houston is out the door.

NFL Network is counting down its top games of the 2018 season, and unsurprisingly, the New England Patriots are well-represented on the list.
The latest unveilings came Sunday, when NFL Network tweeted it’s No. 3 Game of the Year was the Patriots’ thrilling 43-40 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6 at Gillette Stadium.

Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid end their collusion case against the NFL | SB Nation
The settlement doesn’t definitively mean that Kaepernick and Reid were able to prove collusion, nor does it mean that the NFL was able to completely disprove Kaepernick’s and Reid’s claims.
This gives Kaepernick and Reid the chance to recover on lost wages during their unemployment. Kaepernick should get a large sum of money as the result of his prolonged unemployment.

Not a lot of surprises here. Well, except for Alex Smith, though a lot of his placement on the list has to do with his conservative nature. According to PFF, Smith was most accurate on throws it charted as “checkdowns” and “scheme throws,” which include screens and shovel passes.

The Los Angeles Chargers agreed to terms with safety Jaylen Watkins on a one-year deal, keeping him in the fold for the 2019 season, sources confirmed to ESPN on Saturday.

The Oakland Raiders already started doing so last year by parting ways with Michael Crabtree, Khalil Mack, Amari Cooper and Bruce Irvin. Might as well keep it up.
All of the ingredients are there in terms of draft capital (five first-round picks in the next two years) and cap space (they’re projected to have more money to spend than all but six other teams), and they already have a franchise quarterback in place. Now it’s just about building up the remainder of the roster.

Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith may not be ready for the start of the 2019 season, but he could return before the end of it, according to Washington Redskins senior vice president of player personnel Doug Williams, who recently spoke to SiriusXM NFL Radio. The Chiefs traded Smith to the Redskins last offseason.
Tyreek Hill acknowledges and laughs at Tyreek Hill parody
Former Oregon State cornerback and semi-famous YouTuber Rahmel Dockery posted a video parody of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill to his Twitter account on Saturday.
The video pokes fun at Hill’s speed and his signature celebration—flashing the “peace” sign in opposing defenders’ faces.
