There is one option at quarterback that the Jacksonville Jaguars can scratch of the list of possibilities, as the Denver Broncos have agreed in principal to trade for Baltimore Ravens long time quarterback Joe Flacco for what is believed to be a mid-round pick, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Trade cannot be processed until new NFL league year begins Wednesday, March 13. Teams prohibited from commenting on deal or terms surrounding it.
The general thought was that the Ravens were going to release Flacco this offseason and a lot of people speculated that the Jaguars would be interested in adding the veteran. Personally, I didn’t think Flacco was a good fit or even someone the Jaguars should have interest in as a stop gap.
It’s a bit of an odd move for the Broncos, who still have Case Keenum who in my opinion at this point is a better option at quarterback than Flacco. There have also been a lot of pre-draft rumors that John Elway is enamored with Missouri quarterback Drew Lock and he will be a target in the draft.
Well, now the Broncos have a lot of cap money tied up in their quarterback room and that’s one likely disaster the Jaguars can avoid.
