After seven years with the franchise, Miami will move on from the 30-year-old signal caller. The Dolphins went 5–6 under Tannehill in 2018.

- NFL found Dallas did not tamper with Earl Thomas (NFL.com) - The Dallas Cowboys’ seemingly overt dalliance with safety Earl Thomas last season didn’t cross the line. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday that in the fall, the NFL inquired into possible tampering by the Cowboys regarding the Seahawks’ safety, according to sources informed of the situation.
- Former Vikings QB Wade Wilson dies at age 60 (startribune.com) - Wade Wilson, an eight-round draft pick out of East Texas State who helped the Minnesota Vikings to an NFC championship game, died on Friday in Coppell, Texas, on his 60th birthday.
