Antonio Brown could be headed to an AFC West team near you

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says their are two AFC West teams interested in the four-time All-Pro.

Antonio Brown is unhappy. The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver has been unhappy since late December when he was deactivated by the team ahead of its final game.

Brown has since taken to social media all offseason to talk about why he wants out of Pittsburgh. The problem with that, of course, is that Brown has three years left on his contract—so the Steelers will need to move him in a trade.

Though it’s obvious, we covered why Brown won’t be coming to the Kansas City Chiefs any time soon here. But that doesn’t mean the Chiefs won’t see him.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that three teams have the most interest in the four-time All-Pro—including two members of the AFC West, the Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos.

Brown would instantly become the No. 1 wide receiver on the Raiders, considering they traded Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys last season.

In Denver, Brown would pair nicely with Emmanuel Sanders, who expects to be back with the team in 2019. It might be smart for the Broncos to load up with weapons as they attempt to revamp the career of quarterback Joe Flacco.

Over the past six years, Brown has averaged 114 receptions, 1,524 yards, and 11 touchdowns per season. If he comes to the AFC West, the Chiefs would need to find a way to deal with Brown twice a season.

Brown has averaged 6.3 catches and 93.8 yards per game in six career regular-season games against the Chiefs. He has four touchdowns in those games.
