Bills re-sign Jordan Phillips to one year deal

Another free agent locked up.

The Buffalo Bills have re-signed defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, per the player himself. NYUp.com reporter Ryan Talbot has reported that the deal is for one year.

Returning from the NFL Combine, which wrapped up on Monday, the Bills swung back into addressing their pending free agents. Buffalo tendered exclusive rights free agent Eddie Yarbrough earlier today, and now they’ve signed Phillips to a deal.

Phillips joined the Bills in the 2018 season as a waiver claim from the Miami Dolphins. He rotated with the team’s other defensive tackles, with a few splash plays over the course of the season. With the Bills, Phillips played in 12 games, accumulated 19 tackles (12 solo), two tackles for loss, three passes defended, and a fumble recovery.

His teammate, brother from another mother Harrison Phillips, posted his excitement about the signing on Instagram.

With this deal, the Bills now have five defensive tackles on the roster (counting futures signings Kyle Peko and Robert Thomas).
