The Bengals brought back a key piece of their offense in C.J. Uzomah, and the tight end had a message for head coach Zac Taylor.
Fresh off of a new deal, TE C.J. Uzomah paid a visit to Cincinnati to make it official.
While he was in town, he got to meet his new head coach and offensive coordinator for the first time. Per Jay Morrison, Uzomah had a message for Zac Taylor.
Uzomah met head coach Zac Taylor and some assistants for the first time today, and he had a message for them:

"I told the coaches, 'Hey, go get us some guys. Go get some pieces."#Bengals
Clearly Uzomah doesn’t want the Bengals’ free agency to end after he officially inked his deal, or shortly afterwards when the team signed B.W. Webb. He wants to win, and he wants his head coach to piece together a dangerous offense.
Obviously, this made Bengals fans very happy.
This is why we like Uzomah https://t.co/QkdANqAR9T

Whether or not Taylor listens to Uzomah’s advice will be determined. But it is good to see someone excited about playing for the Bengals. Let’s hope his passion is contagious.
