Over the next seven weeks there may be a chance of clarity on what the Arizona Cardinals intend to do with the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Until then, the reality remains we will continue to see a change and shift in mock draft philosophy.
When the NFL Combine passes, that begins to paint the picture of what is truly going to happen. Teams begin to not only create their boards, but they begin to eliminate prospects off their boards.
It's the time of year where the picture that is the 2019 NFL Draft truly comes into focus.
However, we are still seven long weeks away, so it's going to take some time to get there.
Daniel Jeremiah has replaced Mike Mayock as the NFL.com lead draft guy and he, unlike Mayock, is still putting out multiple mocks.
In Jeremiah's Mock Draft 2.0, he makes the move with the Arizona Cardinals to a new signal caller.
PICK 1: Kyler Murray - QB
School: Oklahoma | Year: Junior (RS)
The Cardinals fully commit to Kliff Kingsbury and his vision in this scenario, which will lead the team to trade Josh Rosen.
This is going to be common theme over the next couple of days and maybe even weeks.
The Cardinals have asked for this, they want the attention, they want the questions, they want the uncertainty.
Will this be the pick?
I continue to maintain that it will not, but people I know and trust continue to tell me it's a real thing.
We'll see what happens, but I can promise you this, Murray will continue to be a popular pick over the next seven weeks.
Buckle up.
