With free agency only one week away the Arizona Cardinals are preparing themselves to make a run at a number of high profile free agents.
At the top of their list better be an inside linebacker, we Adam Schefter is reporting the team has released linebacker Josh Bynes:
Cardinals released veteran LB Josh Bynes, per source.

Bynes was clearly the teams best linebacker in 2018, but like most things from the season, the team is looking to improve. Both Bynes and Deone Bucannon are likely headed elsewhere, which leaves only Haason Reddick in house with starting experience.
The Cardinals are likely to be bringing a big offer to C.J. Moseley of the Baltimore Ravens, but also likely to pursue former Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall.
Bynes (30 in August) in his Cardinals career played in 25 games, starting 12. He finished with 76 tackles, 26 assisted tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 interception in his Cardinals career.
The Cardinals will save close to $1.9 million in cap room, giving them about $36 million in cap space heading into free agency.
Good luck to Bynes wherever he ends up.
