The aging receiver wants to go back to Philly.
The Buccaneers may be closer to dealing veteran receiver DeSean Jackson than we know.
According to ESPN, Tampa Bay is actively working the phones with several teams to ship Jackson — a move that would free up $10-million in cap space for 2019.
On the eve of the NFL’s legal tampering period, sources told ESPN that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been actively shopping wide receiver DeSean Jackson for a potential trade and that the Philadelphia Eagles would be a preferred destination for Jackson.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson is also reporting that both Jackson and the Bucs were discussing several options over the weekend.
I'm told #Bucs WR Desean Jackson had a direct convo w/t front office over t/weekend abt his status & trade considerations. Those discussions included convos on the interests of both sides. There's some mutual understanding. I previously reported Jackson wants to move on from TAM.

This move should be an easy decision one for the Buccaneers’ front office to make. With the issues that were brewing in the locker room, it’s best both sides part ways and it appears to be a reality soon.
In two seasons in Tampa Bay, Jackson recorded 1,442 yards and caught seven touchdowns.
UPDATE: DeSean Jackson has been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, per multiple NFL sources. Details have yet to be released.
NEWS: Source said #Eagles and #Buccaneers have agreed on a trade on DeSean Jackson.
