More of the latest Browns news and notes from around the web in today’s dose of the Sunday Dawg Chow.

  • Don’t be shocked if running backs fall in 2019 NFL Draft (The Draft Network) - Don’t draft running backs early. That’s the latest motto, right? No reason to spend high draft capital on a position that not only gains wear and tear quickly, but one that can also be replaced in both the draft and free agency every year. But does this year’s 2019 running back class fit that billing as one that can be a replenishing tool for a very used aspect of offense?
  • Tyler Eifert returning to the Bengals (Dayton Daily News) - Tyler Eifert is back. The 6-foot-6, 255-pound tight end is reportedly signing a one-year deal to return to the Cincinnati Bengals.
  • Jaguars sign wide receiver Chris Conley (jaguars.com) - The Jaguars signed a franchise quarterback this week. On Saturday, they signed a wide receiver who believes strongly in that quarterback – and who has close ties with him as well. Chris Conley, a wide receiver previously with the Kansas City Chiefs, signed with the Jaguars early Saturday morning as an unrestricted free agent. Conley and new Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles spent 2016 as teammates when Foles was the backup in Kansas City.
  • Giants wanted No. 2 overall pick from 49ers for Odell Beckham (PFT) - The man who called his shot and saw it eventually hit the target has some more details regarding the Odell Beckham Jr. trade talks. Jay Glazer, who in a previous Q&A column for TheAthletic.com made a Beckham trade Glazer’s “bold prediction” for the offseason, writes in his latest series of responses to reader inquiries that the Browns weren’t the only team in the mix for Beckham.
