The Bucs grab Perriman.
UPDATE: Due to the Browns trading for WR Odell Beckham Jr later in the day, Perriman backed out of his verbal agreement and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers instead. The original story is below.
According to multiple reports, the Cleveland Browns have re-signed WR Breshad Perriman to a 1-year deal worth $4 million.

The news should make fans happy; a few weeks ago, 98% of fans said they wanted Perriman to return to Cleveland. After being a relative disappointment in Baltimore, Perriman just clicked when he got to Cleveland as a deep threat target for QB Baker Mayfield. In Perriman’s last four games with the team, he caught 8 passes on 10 targets for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns, with longs of 66 and 63 yards.
I predicted a 2-year, $4 million deal for Perriman. I was wrong on the number of years, but the deal is a good one for Cleveland, especially when you see the numbers already floating around for the top free agents set to hit the market.
