As we creep closer and closer to the 2019 NFL Draft, we are finally getting to the nitty gritty.
That’s right, the seven round NFL Mock Drafts are here.
NFL.com’s Chad Reuter released his newest seven round mock draft on Friday and he focused heavily on making sure the Arizona Cardinals offense was ready to perform for Kliff Kingsbury.
Round 1, No. 1 overall: Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma
» Round 2, No. 33: Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma
» Round 3, No. 65: Dawson Knox, TE, Mississippi
» Round 4, No. 103: Shareef Miller, edge, Penn State
» Round 5, No. 139: Bobby Evans, OT, Oklahoma
» Round 6, No. 174: Mike Edwards, S, Kentucky
» Round 6, No. 179 (from Buccaneers): Anthony Johnson, WR, Buffalo
» Round 7, No. 248: Darwin Thompson, RB, Utah State
» Round 7, No. 249: Dontavius Russell, DT, Auburn
» Round 7, No. 254: Derrick Baity, CB, Kentucky
The first three rounds make sense. If the Cardinals draft Murray, then getting a wide receiver and tight end to pair with him would be a big asset for the new head coaches offense.
Brown is someone we’ve discussed while Knox is a tight end with upside who has not seen a lot of use while at Ole Miss.
On day three the Cardinals get a bevy of players at need positions m my favorite Bei Anthony Johnson out of Buffalo.
How would you grade this draft haul for the Arizona Cardinals?
