Cardinals’ post-draft depth chart: What does the Arizona Cardinals defensive depth chart look like after the draft

The Arizona Cardinals have wrapped up the 2019 NFL Draft and how does their potential depth chart look after it?

We took a look at the offense yesterday, today we take a look at the defensive side of the ball, where there seems to be much less to speculate about.

The obvious question first is will Rodney Gunter be a starter or merely a rotational backup. The Cardinals have him listed as a DT right now, not a DE, like newly acquired Darius Philon. Maybe Robert Nkemdiche is back in time for the start of the regular season and he is the guy to fill out the three man line.

The outside linebackers seemed locked in unless they decide to add one in free agency and maybe Vontarrius Dora’s spot could be up for grabs.

Cornerback top four seems set, with Peterson, Alford, Brock and Murphy. The question becomes how many do they keep and who fills out the rest of those spots?

Finally, the safety starters seem set with Swearinger and Budda Baker, but the question is how long can they hold off a healthy Deionte Thompson?

The real question is the inside linebackers. While Jordan Hicks and Haason Reddick seem to be logical starters, but there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of depth that inspires confidence.

Where do you see the greatest need?
