We are well past the point on the calendar when NFL teams can reasonably expect to find impact free agents. The time for signing them was months ago. After that point, teams turned to the NFL Draft. With that now in the rear view mirror, rosters are largely set for the 2019 season.
In some isolated cases there still are some decent free agents available. Few if any of these players will move the needle for a team. Many of them would be risky signings due to injury or other factors. If they were not risky, they would not be available this deep into the spring. But they will also be cheap. They also would not be available this deep into the spring if there was great demand.
On today’s podcast we look at some of the top free agents still available in the NFL to see how many would make good fits for the Jets.
