Odell Beckham Jr.’s absence from Cleveland’s voluntary minicamp and eight of the nine OTAs has been a sore point for the Browns, but the receiver says he will be in attendance for mandatory minicamp. Beckham posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account on Friday along with the caption, “I came a long way from feeling numb…” The photo and caption were not newsworthy, but what he said in response to a commenter was. According to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, a commenter told Beckham to “cut out the crap and get to camp.” Beckham replied, “I’ll be there on the 3rd, u coming?’’ The third is when players are supposed to report for mandatory minicamp, which begins on Tuesday for the Browns. The Browns have several new players and new coaches, and Beckham is expected to be a major part of the team. Not being there for these activities does not send the best message to his team or teammates who are there.
