When the Arizona Cardinals called Zach Allen to let him know they were going to draft him and he said seven simple words that defined him as a player:
“I’m ready to f*** some people up.”
That is Zach Allen.
Walter took some time to go over the film about what makes Allen so dynamic, but on Twitter on Saturday there was something more to see.
Austin Gayle of Pro Football Focus was doing his usual film work and came across one such play that really defines Allen’s mantra of that mess some people up.
Some of Zach Allen's (@TheZALLEN44) first words to Cardinals GM Steve Keim on the phone after getting drafted:

Can't say I'm surprised, dude plays with a hell of a mean streak -- kills the LT for fun on this play.pic.twitter.com/U2Vw22B1FF
It is Allen’s mentality, he’s going to hit someone, he’s going to fight someone on every single play.
He prides himself in his work ethic and motor, which is something that we can all agree was missing from the defense last season.
They lost those dogs that they had on defense and now they are re-embracing those types of players. Bringing back D.J. Swearinger, they brought in Terrell Suggs. The drafted Allen, Deionte Thompson and Byron Murphy.
They want the attitude back, Allen will supply it.
