Weekend Open Thread
Good Morning!
It’s June and you and I know it will be a gif fest all month long. OTA’s continue along with our slow march to training camp. Hope spring eternal in all most some Vikings fans as we enter the new season, jump aboard the hype train and chug the purple Kool-Aid....or don’t, I’m not the boss of you. No poll this weekend as VikingsFanInChennai is taking a break for the foreseable future, when he comes back we’ll go back to a weekend poll. Meanwhile we’ll catch up on our NFC North opponents and then carry on with our news and links thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. We come to today’s media selection: Rush - Limelight
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waiter, try the chips and Welcome Aboard.
