Denver’s new offense is going to need to rely on a lot of young guys. Which ones will step up?
Aside from Emmanuel Sanders and Jeff Heuerman, Denver’s offensive pass-catchers will be mostly first and second year players. Combine that with a new offense and a new quarterback, and the pressure begins to mount for these young players to step up and really carve out a role on this clean slate.
"First and Ten" poll time!

Which of these young pass-catchers do you hope makes the biggest positive impression during Broncos minicamp this week?@MaseDenver @SteveAtwater27 @redwardsradio
Which brings us to the Broncos minicamp that kicks off this week. While still not full training camp, it will give the young pass catchers another opportunity to flash and show what they can do.
As the saying goes, you don’t win a job in the off-season, but you sure can lose a job in the off-season. With all this in mind, who are you looking for to step up in Denver’s upcoming mini-camp?
Benjamin Allbright joined the guys on 1st & 10 at 10 on Orange & Blue 760 to tackle this question. Allbright’s answer was an interesting one. He said the player that he was hoping to see jump out is Brendan Langley, as he is the only other “speed” receiver besides Emmanuel Sanders.
I’m skeptical that Langley will be able to make the transition from corner to receiver and make any type of impact this year, but this is the time for him to begin to emerge if he is going to try and carve out a role as a deep threat while Emmanuel Sanders is hurt.
What do you think, Broncos Country? Which pass-catchers will you be looking for this week?
